Ostia, officially Lido di Ostia, is a large neighbourhood in the Municipio X of the comune of Rome, Italy, near the ancient port of Rome, which is now a major archaeological site known as Ostia Antica. Ostia is also the only municipio or district of Rome on the Tyrrhenian Sea, and many Romans spend the summer holidays there. It is entirely situated within the municipality of Rome and is the city's seaside resort.

Lido di Ostia is a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike, and it's easy to see why. With its long stretches of sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant nightlife, this town has something for everyone. Whether you're looking to relax and soak up the sun or explore the local culture and cuisine, Lido di Ostia has it all.

One of the main attractions of Lido di Ostia is its stunning beachfront promenade, which stretches for over 15 km along the coastline. Here, you can take a leisurely stroll or bike ride while enjoying panoramic views of the sea and the nearby nature reserve.
